Summary
The Extension is designed to hide ads and promotional content on Pinterest pages. The ad-removal logic runs locally in your browser. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not collect your Pinterest account, pins, boards, messages, searches, browsing history, or the contents of pages you visit.
Information processed by the Extension
The Extension may store the following information locally in your browser:
- Your extension settings, such as enabled filters and words you choose to hide.
- A randomly generated installation ID used to manage trials, subscriptions, and the device limit.
- Trial, subscription, and entitlement status cached briefly so the Extension can work reliably.
- An opaque license or trial token issued by our backend after sign-in or subscription activation.
The Extension reads Pinterest page content locally in your browser only to detect and hide ads, promoted pins, videos, shoppable pins, suggestions, or user-defined filtered terms. This processing is not sent to our servers.
Account sign-in information
To start a trial, recover a subscription, or enforce the device limit, you may sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook. We receive and verify the authentication response from the provider. Depending on the provider, we may store:
- Your email address.
- Your stable provider account identifier.
- Your display name and profile picture URL, if the provider returns them.
- The provider name used for sign-in.
We use this information only to identify your trial or subscription, prevent repeated free trials for the same account, recover paid access on another device, and prevent abuse.
Subscription and billing information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or process your full card number, CVC, or other raw payment card details. Stripe may provide us with billing-related records such as your Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, subscription status, payment status, billing email, and current billing period.
We use this information to activate or deactivate subscription access, support billing management, and enforce the subscription terms.
Backend records
Our backend may store:
- Trial start and end dates.
- Subscription status and billing identifiers from Stripe.
- Opaque trial and license tokens.
- Installation IDs associated with a trial or subscription, including the device limit.
- Provider account identifiers and email addresses used for sign-in.
- Basic technical metadata needed for rate limiting, fraud prevention, debugging, and security.
Third-party services
We use the following service providers:
- Stripe for subscription checkout, payment processing, invoices, and customer billing portal.
- Google, Apple, and Facebook/Meta for optional sign-in authentication.
- Vercel for hosting the billing backend and public policy pages.
- Upstash Redis for storing trial, license, and entitlement records.

How we use information

- Provide the Extension's trial and subscription access.
- Verify subscription status and restore access on supported devices.

We keep trial, license, subscription, and sign-in records for as long as needed to provide the service, enforce subscription and device limits, resolve billing issues, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Local extension settings remain in your browser until you remove the Extension data or uninstall the Extension.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- Uninstall the Extension or clear its local browser storage.
- Manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe Customer Portal when available in the Extension.
- Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information associated with your subscription or trial.
- Contact us if you want us to delete account and entitlement records, subject to legal and anti-abuse retention needs.
Data deletion requests
To request deletion of data associated with your trial, subscription, Google, Apple, or Facebook sign-in, email us at hello@benderbureau.com. Include the email address used for sign-in or billing so we can locate the relevant records.

Children's privacy
The Extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
International users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your country of residence. We use service providers that may process data internationally, including in the United States and the European Union.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. For example, payment card details are handled by Stripe, and the Extension stores opaque tokens rather than payment credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
